Spicy Tofu Rice Bowl
Gochujang !! Did you already hear about it? It can make a huge difference in many of your meals, and especially in some Asian recipes!
Gochujang is a Korean spicy condiment, based mostly on red chillis soja paste, rice flour, and wheat germ. You can find a gluten-free version here.
We found a delicious way of enjoying a delicious vegan dinner: A spicy tofu rice bowl. To eat vegan, one of the easiest ways to replace meat is to use tofu, and we like to make or tofu tasteful enough so we cannot miss the meat.
For this recipe you will need : tofu, gochujang, leek, onion, rice sesam oil, broth, honey, chili flakes, and soya sauce. There it is, you wonโt need anything else for this deliciousness.

- Cook Rice
- Press out the water of the tofu and cut it in small pieces
- Cut the leek, the onion
- Warm up your pan with the sesam oil, add and fry the leek and the onion
- Add chilli flakes, the gochujang and mix it very well
- Add the soya sauce, put the tofu on top
- Add some water, the broth and a little bit of honey, and let it cook for 25 minutes
- Top your cooked rice with the sauce and the spicy tofu.
