Indian food always have been a flavor explosion for us! And when we tried for the first time Onion Bhajis, we fell in love! Onion Bhajis (they can also be called by other names) are a popular indian street food snack. It is onions finely sliced, spiced and fried in chickpea flour in order to be super crispy.
It was really important for us to provide a good gluten-free recipe of those because they are extremely delicious and can be made by everyone even beginners.
The ingredients that you need are: onions, chickpea flour, flavors, cilantro, water, lemon, baking powder and olive oil. You can find the full recipe below.

Preperation
- Chop Cilantro into smallpieces and Onions into rings.
- Mix chickpea flour, flavor, cilantro, onions, lemon juice, water and baking powder in a bowl.
- Heat up olive oil for frying in a pan.
- Carefull add a rounded tablespoon of the onion mixture into the oil
- Repeat, so you have 4-5 bhaji's frying at the same time
- Fry for 3-4 minutes until the coating is dark golden brown.
- Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.
